The Italian professional golfer Edoardo Molinari has been an icon for many golf fans across the world. Up until 2010 he had won professional tournaments on four of the six continents where golf is played: Europe, South America, Africa and Asia and in 2010, he won on European PGA Tour.

Despite this great success, since 2010 the Italian golfer did not achieve any significant victories. The years 2011 – 2016 were filled with ‘average’ performances and the media wrote about the slump in his form.
